OVA LEE “PETE” DAUGHERTY Ova Lee “Pete” Daugherty, 82, Irvington, died Oct. 24, 2007, at his residence. He was born Aug. 10, 1925, in Breckinridge County, the son of Clint and Donnie Sosh Daugherty. He was a farmer and a trucker and he owned and operated a grave service, 36 years of which were with Alexander Funeral Home. Mr. Daugherty is survived by his wife of 62 years, Hazel Cundiff Daugherty; a brother, Hobert Daugherty, Ekron; two sisters, Inez Cundiff, Irvington, and Lottie Vincent of Hardin County; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at held at 3 p.m. EDT Oct. 28, from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Rev. Janet Carden officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Irvington. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-9 p.m. Oct. 27, and after 8 a.m. Oct. 28.
