WILLIAM ROGER AKERS William Roger Akers, 43, Muldraugh, died Oct. 26, 2007. He was employed with Marks Feed Store in Valley Station. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Curtis and Christine Elam Akers. Mr. Akers is survived by his wife, Traci Akers, Muldraugh; two sons, John Curtis Akers II and Jacob Riley Akers, both of Muldraugh; a daughter, Emily Catherine Akers, Muldraugh; four brothers, Johnny Lee Akers, Flaherty, Andy Blake Akers and Riley Akers, both of Hellier, and Ernest Akers, Ivel; four sisters, Darlene Martin, Vera Kiser and Debbie Feavel, all of Flaherty, and Ellen Anderson, Lexington; and a grandson, Jaiden Van Sage Akers. Funeral services will be held Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Vine Grove, with Pastor Chris Bushnell and Pastor Lincoln Varney officiating. Burial will be in the Vine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Oct. 29, 6-8 p.m., and after noon Oct. 30. Condolences may be left online at www.nebfh.com.
