BRYAN LYNN SIMLER

Bryan Lynn Simler, 33, died Jan. 22, 2007, at M.D. Anderson Medical Center, Houston, Texas. A native of Harrison County, Ind., he was born Aug. 9, 1973, to Larry and Linda Kintner Simler.

He worked in maintenance and machine repair at Icon Metal Forming in Corydon and was a member of the Highlander Community Church near Galena.

Mr. Simler is survived by his wife, Heather Dawn McCarty Simler; his parents, Larry and Linda Simler; a son, Bryson Simler; two daughters, Sierra Simler and Destiny Simler; a brother, Steve Simler; and two nephews, Andrew Simler and Michael Simler, all of Central, Ind.

Funeral services will be held Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home, Corydon. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Corydon. Friends may call at the funeral home Jan. 26, noon - 9 p.m., Jan. 27, 9 a.m. - 9 p.m., and after 9 a.m. Jan. 28.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Simler, Michael Simler, Brian Ripperdan, Shawn McCarty, Rob Owen, Darren Carey, Kevin Oskin, Jerry Grant III, Robert Grant and Scott Alford. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Simler, Charlie Tindall, Scott Schneider and Greg Milby.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Leukemia Society of America or the American Diabetes Association.
