JAMES H. EMBRY James H. Embry, 75, Westview, died Nov. 7, 2007, at Breckinridge Health Inc. He was born March 3, 1932, in Breckinridge County, the son of the late Eugan and Eva Basham Embry. He attended Emmanuel Fellowship Church and enjoyed the outdoors, motorcycles and playing the harmonica and guitar. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice, and a sister, Shirley Howe. Mr. Embry is survived by five children, Jimmy Embry, Guston, Tracy Lucas and Stacy Carman, both of SeRee, and Shelia Galloway and Connie Coppage, both of Westview; four stepchildren, Joannie Witt, Florida, Debbie Rodgers and Donna Bratcher, both of Leitchfield, and Mike Robinson, Elizabethtown; eight grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margie Duvall, Somerset, and Sue Embry, Hawesville; four brothers, Lester Embry, McDaniels, Archie Embry, Hardinsburg, Marvin Embry, Lewisport, and Donnie Embry, Clarkson. Funeral services were held Nov. 10 from the chapel of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Stevenson officiating. Burial was in the Cave Spring Cemetery.
