James William “Sarge” Watters, 77, Louisville, died Jan. 22, 2007, at Southwest Hospital. He was a retired chemical worker for Olin Chemicals and retired security for Cohart. He was an Army veteran and a member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church. Mr. Watters is survived by two sisters, Mary Olivia Denney and Anna Laverne Watters; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Jan. 25 at 10:30 a.m. from Our Lady of Consolation Church, 10801 Deering Road. Burial will be in St. Mary Magdalen of Pazzi Cemetery, Payneville, directed by Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Friends may call at the funeral home Jan. 24, 4-8 p.m. There will be a brief visitation at the church in Payneville prior to the burial.
