THOMAS SALLENGS Thomas Sallengs, 87, Radcliff, died Nov. 21, 2007, at his home. He was a teacher at Fort Knox High School and administrator at Crittenberger Elementary School in Fort Knox. He was a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deloris Sallengs; and a brother, Russell Sallengs. Mr. Sallengs is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Pamela S. (Robert) Moss, Georgetown; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald T. (Pam) Sallengs, Scottsville; two brothers, Hershel Sallengs, Cecilia, and Walter Sallengs, Shepherdsville; a sister, Virginia Myers, Erlanger; and a granddaughter, Christy Willyard, Vine Grove. Funeral services will be held Nov. 24 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Radcliff, with Chaplain Mary Jo Kruer officiating. Burial will be in the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home Nov. 23, 5-8 p.m., and after 10 a.m. Nov. 24. Condolences may be left online at www.nebfh.com.
