Paul Chalmer Philpott, 52, Brandenburg, died Nov. 28, 2007, at University of Louisville Hospital. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Staff Sgt. Philpott retired from the United States Army and served in Desert Storm and Vietnam. Mr. Philpott is survived by two daughters, Amanda (Stephen) Womack, Elizabethtown, and April Philpott, Flaherty; two sons, Paul Philpott Jr., Brandenburg, and Louis Philpott, Flaherty; a grandson, Kevin Womack; and his father, Chalmer Philpott, Ohio. Funeral services with military honors will be held Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. from Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, with Rev. Dan Newton officiating.
