REVA GRACE ‘GRACIE’ PETERS Reva Grace “Gracie” Peters, 69, died Nov. 30, 2007, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center, Corydon, Ind. She was a member of St. Theresa Church in Rhodelia and retired from Meade County Schools as a teacher’s aide. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Tate Bradley Peters, and a great-grandson, Klay Michael Shelman Mattingly. Ms. Peters is survived by three children, Reva Marie Peters, Payneville, Billy (Teresa) Peters Jr., Payneville, and Gerry (Jill) Peters, Greenville; three sisters, Mary Franklin Vessels, Union Star, George Ann Vessels, Winter Springs, Fla., and Sue Helen Fackler, Webster; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Dec. 3 from St. Mary Magdalen Church, Payneville. Burial was in St. Theresa Cemetery, directed by Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Jesse Peters, Frankie Vessels, Ricky Rhodes, Bruce Nevitt, Kevin Mattingly and Jeremy Mills.
