Flossie Miller Dunaway, 90, Radcliff, died Feb. 11, 2007, at North Hardin Health & Rehabilitation Center, Radcliff. She was a member of Gospel Assembly Church, Shively, for 76 years. She had worked 20 years for a children’s hospital in Louisville. Although she didn’t have children she loved all as if they were her own. She was known as “Aunt Boo” to everyone. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Edward Dunaway; her parents, Dixon and Cora E. Miller; a sister, Ruby Guelat; and a nephew, Michael E. Dew. Mrs. Dunaway is survived by her twin sister, Bessie Westbay; a niece Betty (Joseph) Dew, Vine Grove; a great-nephew, Dr. Kevin (Laverne) Dew, Cox’s Creek; a great-niece, Michele Dew (Keith) Hottinger; five great-great-nieces, Loreena Sampson, Stephanie Yarborough, Elizabeth Carpenter, Emily Hottinger and Sondra Dew; five great-great-nephews Jason Dew, Troy Dew, Joshua Dew, Bryan Dew and Bradley Dew; a step-great-great-nephew, Drew Mattingly; a step-great-great-niece, Amy Mattingly; a great-great-great-nephew, Austin Sampson; and a great-great-great-niece, Katie Sampson. Funeral services will be Feb. 14 at noon from Gospel Assembly Church, Louisville, with Brother George Blevins officiating. Burial will be in the Louisville Memorial Gardens West, directed by Coffey & Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove.
