Wesley Clinton Kiper, 74, Irvington, died Feb. 12, 2007, at his residence. He was born Sept. 26, 1932, in McDaniels, the son of Charlie and Clara Lewis Kiper. He was a mechanic, farmer and veteran of the Korean conflict. Mr. Kiper is survived by his wife, Catherine Kiper; a daughter, Brenda Kiper, Cloverport; a stepdaughter, Jackie Phillips, Irvington; two stepsons, Kenneth Phillips and Paul Phillips, both of Irvington; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Feb. 14 at noon from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvert Cemetery, Madrid. Friends may call at the funeral home Feb. 13, after 3 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Central Kentucky.
