ELIZABETH MABEL SHELTON CURRY Elizabeth Mabel Shelton Curry, 81, Radcliff, died Feb. 11, 2007, in Georgetown, Del. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard F. Curry; a son, Francis “Buddy” Thorton; a grandchild, Debra Tyre; her parents, Charles Ewell and Mattie Vinona Shelton; two sisters, Norma Shelton and Eunice Mae Peevey; and five brothers, Charles Ewell Shelton, James Franklin Shelton, Selbert “Ted” Shelton, Bill Shelton and Norman “Bud” Shelton. Mrs. Curry is survived by three daughters, Wilda Jean Littleton, Georgetown, Del., Sherry Elizabeth Shelton, Eastview, and Diana Lynn England, Radcliff; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Griffith, Florida; a special nephew and his wife, James and Regina Lancaster, Elizabethtown. Funeral services were held Feb. 17 from the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove, with Rev. Gregg Curtis officiating. Burial was in North Hardin Memorial Gardens, Radcliff.
