1ST SGT. OSCAR TUCKER

1st Sgt. (retired) Oscar Tucker, 65, Radcliff, died March 12, 2007, at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital, Louisville.

He was a loving father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam war. After retiring from the military he retired from the U.S. Post Office in Louisville.

He is survived by his two daughters, LaTanya Tucker (Tyri Callen), Radcliff, and Denise (Larry) Ditto, Ekron; a son, Oscar Tucker Jr., Radcliff; special friends, Willie Tucker, Radcliff, Angela Coombs, Clearwater, Fla., and Leon Covington, Radcliff; 12 brothers and sisters; and eight grandchildren, Antonio Tucker, Jasmine Tucker, Nikkia Ditto, Deontate Ditto, Mersedez Ditto, DeMarco Callen, Alexis Callen and Jordan Callen.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 17, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Radcliff, with a U.S. Army chaplain officiating. Burial will be in the North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff with military honors. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, March 16, from 6-8 p.m., and on Saturday, March 17, after noon.
