PERRY WAYNE DOWELL

Perry Wayne Dowell, 53, Bowling Green, died Dec. 31, 2007, at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Nashville, Tenn. He was born Feb. 12, 1954 in Hardinsburg.

He was formerly employed by Ford Motor Company, a member of Webster United Methodist Church, and a talented singer and musician.

Mr. Dowell is survived by his parents, Clifford and LaVaughn Wortham Dowell, Webster; three children, Jordan Dowell, Bowling Green, Michael Dowell, California, and Gabrielle V. Dowell, Seattle, Wash.; a grandson, Kaiani Dowell; a brother, Jeff Dowell, Garfield; two sisters, Patty Seelye, Harned, and Denise Couch, Irvington; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held Jan. 3 at 1 p.m. CST from the chapel of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, with Rev. Alan Baysinger officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Irvington. Friends may call at the funeral home Jan. 2 from 3-8 p.m. CST and Jan. 3 after 8:30 a.m. CST.
