LOUISE NOTTINGHAM CARMAN

Louise Nottingham Carman, 79, Harned, died March 27, 2008, at Medco Center, Hardinsburg. She was born April 5, 1928, in Breckinridge County, the daughter of the late Samuel U. and Myrtle Mae Moore Nottingham.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, being outdoors, listening to the radio and family time.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Carman; a daughter, Brenda; two brothers, Lester Nottingham and Melvin Nottingham; and two sisters, Edna Armes and Bevie Armes.

Mrs. Carman is survived by three children, Mary (Noel) Moore, Locust Hill, David (Lois) Carman, Cecilia, and Bobby Carman, Lewisport; a sister, Ruby Smiley, SeRee; six grandchildren, Kevin Moore, Brian Moore, Stephanie Cecil, Jeffrey Carman, Christopher Carman and Lucinda Henning; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held March 30 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with Rev. David Little officiating. Burial will be in the Kingswood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home March 29, 3:30-8 p.m.
