DORIS BASHAM ADAMS

Doris Basham Adams, 80, Seymour, Ind., died March 27, 2008, at Columbus Regional Hospital, Columbus, Ind.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Louise Bridges, Ella Grace Benham and Naomi Hutchins; and a brother, Bernie Basham.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband, Edwin Perry Adams Sr.; four children, Sandra Adams (Ernie) Miller, Elkhart, Ind., Edwin Perry Adams Jr., Seymour, Ind., Darlene Adams (John) Deckard, Hope, Ind., and Edwina Adams (Byron) Nieman, Crothersville, Ind.; four sisters, Margie Chism, Ekron, and Lois Smith, Maybelle Thomas and Sue Carol Rider, all of Brandenburg; seven grandchildren, Rob Miller, Kevin Miller, Candace Deckard, Evan Deckard, Harvey Adams, Ethan Nieman and Hannah Nieman; three great-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild.

Funeral Services were held March 31 from Cornerstone Community Church, Seymour, Ind., with Rev. D.G. Morris officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, directed by Hager Funeral Home.
