BURDETTE ‘BILL’ W. BROWNING

Burdette “Bill” W. Browning, 65, Radcliff, died April 10, 2008. He was born Aug. 9, 1942, in South Hamilton, N.Y.

He was preceded in death by his father, John C. Browning Sr., his mother, Nancy A. Browning, and a sister, Nora Giordano.

Mr. Browning is survived by his wife, Judith S. Browning; three children, Vicky L. Browning, William B. Browning and Jason F. Browning, all of Florida; three stepchildren, James L. Strong and Edward L. Strong, both of Kentucky, and Melinda J. Hallock, Virginia; three sisters, Patricia (Robert) Holcomb, New York, Eleanor (Edward) Riley, Florida, and Nancy Taranto, New Mexico; two brothers, John C. (Christine) Browning Jr., Montana, and Robert (Ronna) Browning, New York; 10 grandchildren; and 20 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held April 17 from the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Noel officiating. The family has chosen cremation to follow.
