ANN HOBBS Ann Hobbs, 83, Flaherty, died May 18, 2008, at North Hardin Health and Rehabilitation Center, Radcliff. She was a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Flaherty. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wash and Catherine Ray. Mrs. Hobbs is survived by her husband, Edd Hobbs, Flaherty; three sons, Mike Hobbs, Chicago, Ill., Eddie (Cathy) Hobbs and Tommy Hobbs, all of Flaherty; six daughters, Barbara (John) Muncy, Flaherty, Peggy (Rick) Schweinhart, Mary Kaye Hobbs, Jean (Bill) Schulz, and Angela (Chris) Morris, all of Louisville, and Nina (Herbie) Chism, Brandenburg; a brother, Jerry Ray, New York; 25 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be held May 21 at 11 a.m. from St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Flaherty, with Rev. Paul Beach officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, directed by Coffey & Chism Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home May 20, 3-8 p.m., and after 9 a.m. May 21. There will be a prayer service May 20 at 7 p.m. from the funeral home.
