Nevitt Benham, 75, Brandenburg, died May 20, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown. He was born July 26, 1932, the son of Wilbur K. and Alliene Trent Benham. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retired maintenance foreman with civil service. He was preceded in death by a son, John Matt Benham; and two sisters, Pat Craig and Bonnie Raymer. Mr. Benham is survived by his wife, Edith Mae Benham, Brandenburg; three children, Bonita Tyler, Louisville, LaRoy Benham, Brandenburg, and Joe Benham, LaGrange; two sisters, Velma Benham, Brandenburg, and Wanda Peter, Lansing, Mich.; five grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew, Emily, Sarah and Nicole; and two great-grandsons, Chesney and Nevon. Funeral services will be held May 23 at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Dan Paddack and Mr. Bobby Brown officiating.
