JERRY CLINTON PHILLIPS SR. Jerry Clinton Phillips Sr. died May 22, 2008, at the Episcopal Church Home. Born in Casey County, he was the son of the late Willis and Amanda Phillips. He had retired from General Electric. He was a member of the Meade County Cattleman’s Association. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Phillips, his parents, two brothers and a sister. Mr. Phillips is survived by three children, Jerry (Debra) Phillips Jr., Dianna Phillips (Eduardo) Ulfe and Jeffrey Allen Phillips; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister. Funeral services will be held May 25 at 3 p.m. from Oak Grove Baptist Church, 5039 Thomas Ridge Rd., Dunnville. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call May 24, 4-8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway and May 25, 1-3 p.m., at the church. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Episcopal Church Home, 7504 Westport Road.
