MARY ELLEN CRUMLEY Mary Ellen Crumley, 65, Westminster, Md., died May 30, 2008, at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster, Md. She was born Feb. 27, 1943, in Louisville, the daughter of Francis Joseph and Ada Lee Murphy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. (Ret.) Michael H. Crumley Sr. Mrs. Crumley is survived by her children, Patricia Lee Crumley, Waldorf, Md., Michael Hugh (Kristie) Crumley Jr., Mt. Airy, Md., Mary Kathleen “Kaysy” (Craig) Connell, Westminster, Md., Joanna Clare Crumley (Briton) Green, Fredericksburg, Va., and Meghan Eileen Crumley, Ashburn, Va.; her grandchildren, Michael Hugh Crumley III, Kelly Marie Crumley, Brenna Lynn Connell and Jason Michael Connell; and her brother, Francis Joseph Murphy IV, Sandy Springs, Ga. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held June 5 at noon from the Main Post Chapel, Fort Knox, with Chaplain Captain John Perez officiating. Internment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Fort Knox, directed by Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Radcliff.
