EDITH IMOGENE WATTS CHURCHILL Edith Imogene Watts Churchill, 76, Radcliff, died June 26, 2008, at her home. She was born July 10, 1931, in Kosmosdale, the first of eight children born to Booker T. and Alma Miller Watts. She attended the Jefferson County School System in Louisville, graduating from Central High School in 1949. She was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church and was a member of Women on Mission there. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Richard W. Churchill III. Mrs. Churchill is survived by her husband, Richard W. Churchill Jr.; six children, Michael (Ann) Churchill and Cherylle Coatley, all of Louisville, Anthony Churchill and Kenneth Churchill, both of Radcliff, Gloria (Lucius) Gundy, Stone Mountain, Ga., and Monika (Lester) Knotts, West Point, N.Y.; two brothers, Booker T. Watts Jr., Louisville, and Norman Watts, Ekron; four sisters, Veloris Hurd, Barbara Watts, Edna Lynum and Joyce Grey, all of Louisville; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held July 1 at 11 a.m. from Mill Creek Baptist Church, Radcliff, with Dr. James Shaw officiating. Burial will be in the North Hardin Memorial Gardens, Radcliff, directed by Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Radcliff. Friends may call at the funeral home June 30, 6-8 p.m., and at 10 a.m. July 1.
