JAMES ROGER MIRACLE

Sgt. 1st Class Miracle, 73, Elizabethtown, died Aug. 3, 2008, at his home.

He retired after 22 years of service in the U.S. Army. He was a native of Middlesboro and a member of American Legion Post 113 and VFW Post 10281.

Sgt. 1st Class Miracle is survived by his wife of 34 years, Maureen T. Miracle, Elizabethtown; a son, Michael R. Miracle; two daughters, Terry L. (Ryan P.) Maki and Cynthia E. Miracle; two grandchildren, Jason R. Miracle and Jessica M. Kaminski; a great-grandson, Joshua A. Kaminski; a sister, Edna Reynolds; four brothers, Eugene Miracle, Jr., Clifford Miracle and Billy Jo Miracle; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends in the United States and United Kingdom.

Funeral services were held Aug. 7 from the chapel of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Radcliff, with Rev. Alice Nichols officiating. Burial with military honors was held in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff.
