ALTA MAE LEONARD

Alta Mae Leonard, 84, Vine Grove, died Aug. 05, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown.

She was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Sidenstricker.

Mrs. Leonard is survived by her husband, Paul M. Leonard; a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Leonard Gray and Bill Gray, Hiram, Ga.; three brothers, Arthur Cockriel and Albert Cockriel, both of Radcliff, and Hubert Cockriel, Rineyville; two sisters, Jean Royalty, Radcliff, and Gloria Clater, Vine Grove; a granddaughter, Michelle Gray Jones, Mableton, Ga.; and two great-grandchildren, Nathan Parks Jones and Reagan Gray Jones.

Funeral services will be held Aug. 8 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Vine Grove, with Rev. James Royalty officiating. Burial will be in the Vine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Aug. 7, 6-8 p.m., and Aug. 8 after 10 a.m.
