MICHAEL ALEXANDER ‘ALEX’ HOWELL

Michael Alexander “Alex” Howell, 2, died Aug. 3, 2008, at his residence. He was born April 10, 2006, Louisville.

He was a member of Harned United Methodist Church. He was a very outgoing and active boy who loved playing with his cars, watching movies, playing basketball and baseball. With a little help from his dad, he was able to dunk on a 7-foot goal. He loved animals, and on a trip to the Cincinnati Zoo, he discovered his favorite animal was a monkey.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Charles and Marlene Fallon, John F. and Milda Alexander, Wilbur and Anna Howell and Robert Neil Taylor Sr.

Alex is survived by his parents, Brent and Kim Howell, Harned; brothers and sister, Joseph Neil, Jillian LeeAnn and Daniel Adam Howell, all of Harned; his grandparents, Joe and Nancy Howell, Hardinsburg, Neil and Michele Taylor, McDaniels, and Steve and Glenn Mason, Crestwood; his great-grandparents, William and Wilma Wise, Louisville, and Joyce Taylor, Prospect; six uncles, Ryan, Robert and Kyle Taylor, Scott, Mark and Tyler Howell; and a cousin, Ryleigh Howell.

Funeral services were held Aug. 6, 2008, at 1 p.m. CDT from Harned United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Harned Cemetery, directed by Trent-Dowell Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to “Team Alex” which is the Harned United Methodist Church Relay for Life Team.
