BOBBIE M. RICHMOND

Bobbie M. Richmond, 81, Pollock, died July 29, 2008, at her residence.

She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, Prospect.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Richmond; her parents, William C. and Ava Hataway McBride; a brother, W.C. “Buck” (Ola) McBride; and a sister, Pat (Keith) Garner.

Mr. Richmond is survived by four daughters, Gayle Bishop, Pollock, Donna Richmond, Lafayette, Judy (Pat) Jordan, Ekron, Ky., Susan Richmond, of Pollock; two brothers, Kenneth McBride, Latanier, and Robert McBride, Pollock; three sisters, Juanita Draper, Pollock, Louise Floyd, Pineville, and Betty Brunson, Tioga; three grandchildren, Tarl (Melanie) Jordan, Ava Jordan and Jackson Richmond; and a great-granddaughter, Scarlett Jordan.

Funeral services were held Aug. 1 from the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with Reverends Homer Bryan and Steve Montgomery officiating. Burial was in the Alexandria National Cemetery. Pallbearers were Pat Jordan, Tarl Jordan, Kenneth McBride, Robert McBride, Mickey McBride and John Richmond.
