BETTY JEAN ARMEL

Betty Jean Armel, 83, Brandenburg, died Aug. 3, 2008, at Medco Center of Brandenburg. She was born April 20, 1925, the daughter of John and Olive Jones Tamblyn.

Mrs. Armel is survived by two sons, David (Sondra) Armel, Upton, and Wray (Connie) Armel, Ocala, Fla.; a nephew, Bob (Phyllis) Seaman, Scottdale, Pa.; six grandchildren, Chad, Amy, Heather, Christy, Shannon and Jared; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Aug. 8 from the chapel of the Grimm Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant, Pa., with Rev. Daniel Schultheis officiating. Burial was in Greenlick Cemetery, Woodale, Pa. Hager Funeral Home was entrusted with local arrangements.
