STANLEY DAVID WADDLE

Stanley David Waddle, 46, Payneville, died Aug. 4, 2008, at Jewish Hospital, Louisville. He was born May 26, 1962, the son of Junius B. and Anna Josephine Fackler Waddle.

He was a superintendent for Robert Mattingly & Son Construction Co.

He was preceded in death by his father, J.B. Waddle; a sister, Vanessa Hartz; and a brother, Freddie Staples.

Mr. Waddle is survived by two children, Tasha Waddle, Brandenburg, and Derek Waddle, Payneville; his mother, JoAnn Waddle, Guston; a special friend and sister-in-law, Susan Staples; special friends, Kim Lancaster, Flaherty, and Paul “Bubba” Benham, Brandenburg; two sisters, Audrey Vowels, Corydon, Ind., and Shelia Humphrey, Payneville; and four brothers, Dennis Staples, Gray, Ga., Keith Staples, Payneville, Bruce Waddle, Brandenburg, and Kelly Waddle, Battletown.

Funeral services were held Aug. 7 from St. Theresa Catholic Church with Rev. Robert Abel officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, directed by Hager Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Kelly Waddle, Joey Staples, Scotty Brown, Mark Hartz, Mark Hebert and Bill Robinson.
