MARJORIE L. EVANS Marjorie L. Evans, 71, Middletown, Ohio, died Aug. 18, 2008, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born Aug. 28, 1936, in Copley, Ohio, and had lived in Middletown for 50 years. She was employed for 20 years as a home health aide for the city of Middletown and for 10 years as a cashier at Tobacco Connection. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Irene (Jordan) LaTondress; three brothers, Jack, Dan and Harry; and a sister, Audrey Terrell. Mrs. Evans is survived by a daughter, Rene Vanderpool; her husband, Lee, Seven Mile, Ohio; a son, Darrin Evans, Middletown, Ohio; three grandchildren, Angela, Virginia and Jordan; six great-grandchildren, Lori, Tori, Tyler, Faith, Hannah and Hailey; two sisters, Lois Jennings and Joy Climes; two brothers, Bob Jordan and Wayne LaTondress; four sisters-in-law, Rose LaTondress, Shirley LaTondress, Charlene LaTondress and Joyce Jordan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Aug. 22 from the chapel of Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, Middletown, with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Interment was in Woodside Cemetery, Middletown, Ohio.
