MILDRED BALLINGER

Mildred Ballinger, 81, Radcliff, died Aug. 25, 2008, at her residence.

She served as a nurse at Kingdom Baptist Church, Chicago, Ill. and Old St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Walker Ballinger, and a son, Robert L. Hayden.

Mrs. Ballinger is survived by seven daughters; Virginia Jones, Radcliff, Mary Walker Ballinger, Cleveland, Ohio, Cheryl Ann (Paul) Cash, Anchorage, Alaska, Reese Sanders, Lexington, Joyce Brenda Ballinger, Radcliff, Janice (Lynell) Ellis, Radcliff, and Gail Renee (Tarvaris) Barnes, Elizabethtown; a son, Gregory Ballinger, Chicago, Ill.; 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Freddie Harris, Frankfort.

Funeral services were held Sept. 2 from Gloryland Harvest Church, Radcliff, with Rev. Jacob Pearman officiating. Burial was in the Green Hill Cemetery, Frankfort.
