J.D. Lambert, 81, Rineyville, died Sept. 12, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was retired from the United States Army and was a retired school custodian. He was a native of Harrogate, Tenn., and a member of Forge Ridge Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a wife, Ina Mae Lambert; his parents, James and Mary Lambert; and two brothers, Cecil Lambert and Elmer Lambert. Mr. Lambert is survived by his wife, Dixie Anna Lambert, Rineyville; two sons, Jim (Wilma) Lambert and Norman (Valerie) Lambert; two stepchildren, Regina (Tim) Mudd, and Cory (Teresa) Adams; eight step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Hubert Earl (Louise) Lambert, Tennessee; two sisters, Nada (Charles) Hubbs, Tennessee, and Ruth (Henry) Neal, Maryland; two sisters-in-law, Louise Lambert and Rettie Lambert, both of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in Poplar Grove Cemetery, Harrogate, Tenn. Cremation was chosen by the family.
