Michael Elwood Luker, 64, Vine Grove, died Sept. 13, 2008, at his residence. He was a member of the West Point Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Luker is survived by his wife, Julia Luker, Vine Grove; two sons, John Luker, Louisville, and Jacob Luker, Indianapolis, Ind.; two grandchildren, Cameron Luker and Adriana Luker; two sisters, Dotsy Luker, Jeffersontown, and Susan Simpson, Louisville; and a close friend, Woody Hall, Nashville, Tenn. Funeral services will be held Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. from West Point Baptist Church with Brother Doug Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, with military honors, directed by Coffey & Chism Funeral Home.
