Marshall Columbus Reesor Jr., 64, died Aug. 10, 2008, in Athens, Texas. He was born Jan. 15, 1944, in Brandenburg, the son of Catherine Reesor and the late Marshall Reesor Sr. He served in the United States Coast Guard in Youngstown, N.Y., and worked at Occidental Petroleum Co. where he retired after 32 years of service. He was an avid pilot and fisherman. He moved to Gun Barrell City, Texas, where he spent many hours fishing and boating on Cedar Lake. He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Mary Angela Reesor, and a sister, Mary Krack. Mr. Reesor is survived by two children, Barbara (Mike) Sivells and John (Julie) Reesor; four grandchildren, Joey and Arianna Sivells and Ethan and Alyssa Reesor; his mother, Catherine Reesor; two brothers, James and David Reesor; and three sisters, Margaret Rose Adams, Thelma “Ann” Logsdon and Catherine “Fay” Wilkins.
