MARY JANE CRAYCROFT

Mary Jane Craycroft, 95, Flaherty, died Sept. 17, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Didler” Craycroft; a daughter, Ann Lambert; a son, Joe Craycroft; her parents, Joseph Stephan and Frances Judith Reese Mills; two brothers; and four sisters.

Mrs. Craycroft is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Jeanie Craycroft, Flaherty; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Jay Wethington, Brandenburg, and Rose and John Meister, Owensboro; 11 grandchildren, Donna (Kurt) Barr, Larry McGehee, Traci (Joey) Bewley, Eric (Caroline) Meister, Katie Meister, David (Ashley) Meister, Kim (Lane) Crawley, Scott Craycroft, Miranda Jo (David) Hobbs, Keira Ann (Tony) Curtis and Shayna Jane (James) Luttrell; and 11 great-grandchildren, Christy Barr, Jacob Bewley, Brady Bewley, Anna Meister, Andrew Meister, Stephen Meister, Emma Jo Crawley, Taylor Hobbs, George Alec Wayne Hobbs, Ann Carolyn Curtis and Macy Marie Curtis.

The Mass of Christian Burial was held Sept. 20 from St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Flaherty, with Rev. Anthony L. Chandler officiating. Burial was in the St. Martin Catholic Church Cemetery, directed by Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Vine Grove.
