JOSEPHINE E. CRAWFORD

Josephine E. Crawford, 67, Battletown, died Sept. 22, 2008. She was born Sept. 27, 1940, in Irvine, to the late Andy and Agnes Greer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Crawford.

Mrs. Crawford is survived by a sister, Sue (Hubert) Curl, Brandenburg; three nieces, Teresa (Dennis) Prather, Ekron, Susan (Dave) Whelan, Battletown, and Tina Jo (Brad) Warren, Evansville, Ind.; three nephews, Andy (Tanya) Curl and Mike (Stephanie) Curl, both of Brandenburg, and Joey (Edith) Curl, Lewisport; an aunt, Joyce (Terry) Brown, Battletown; an uncle, Bob Friend, Michigan; a great-aunt, Eva (Alfred) Wood, Battletown; and her special friend Janet Bullock, Wolf Creek.

Funeral services will be held Sept. 27 at noon from the chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home with Pastor Johannesburg Boulware officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Sept. 26, 4-8 p.m., and after 9 a.m. Sept. 27.
