WILLIAM L. ‘BILL’ COMBS

William L. “Bill” Combs, 69, Brandenburg, died Jan. 26, 2008, at Medco Center of Brandenburg. He was born June 21, 1938, the son of Sam and Mazie Honaker Combs.

He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army and a truck driver.

Mr. Combs is survived by his wife, Annemarie Combs, Brandenburg; a son, Pete Combs, Brandenburg; a granddaughter, Aerial Combs, Brandenburg; four sisters, Bonnie, Nancy, Barbara and Edna; two brothers, Luther and Sam Combs; two brothers-in-law, Harimut and Wolfgang Janotta; two sisters-in-law, Susana Hutchin and Trudy Spell; and his special friends, Margo Rhymer, Elizabethtown, and Paul and Karin Hartless, Brandenburg.

Graveside services will be held Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. from the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, with military honors, directed by Hager Funeral Home, Brandenburg.
