NORBERT ANTHONY BROWN Norbert Anthony Brown, 70, Vine Grove, died Feb. 1, 2008, at Jewish Hospital, Louisville. He was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church in Vine Grove and the Knights of Columbus, Father Diemert Council #3379. He was the former owner of a tavern. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Ida Brown; two brothers, Eugene Brown and Joseph Brown; and a sister, Bernice Shadwick. Mr. Brown is survived by two sisters, Mildred Noll, Valley Station, and Patricia (Ted) Carroll, Elizabethtown; and two brothers, Raphael (Shearl) Brown, Lutz, Fla., and Paul (Connie) Brown, Elizabethtown. The funeral mass was held Feb. 4 from St. Brigid Catholic Church, Vine Grove, with Rev. Daniel L. Lincoln officiating. Burial was in the St. Brigid Cemetery, directed by Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Vine Grove. Condolences may be left online at www.nebfh.com.
