VETEUR BENNETT

Veteur Bennett, 92, Dyer, died Feb. 18, 2008, at Medco Center of Hardinsburg.

She was a member of Constantine United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Bennett; and a son, Owen Bennett Jr.

Mrs. Bennett is survived by a son, Ivan Bennett, Dyer; a daughter, Brenda McKinney, Indianapolis, Ind.; two sisters, Mae Dowell, Irvington, and Zelmodene Dowell, Brandenburg; six grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. EST from the chapel of Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Vine Grove, with Rev. Beryl Fentress officiating. Burial will be in the Custer Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Feb. 20, 5-8 p.m., and after 9 a.m. Feb. 21.
