REBA LOUIS TATE DIEHL
Reba Louis Tate Diehl, 89, Hardinsburg, died Jan. 5, 2010, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital Extended Care Facility. She was born in Cloverport on June 19, 1920, the daughter of the late Allie B. and Alva Dowell Tate.
She was a member of Hardinsburg United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She loved her family and was so proud of them. She enjoyed quilting and church activities.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kelly Glenn; three brothers, Franklin Tate, William “Billy” Tate and Stoy Tate; and two sisters, Marjorie Weedman and Nancy Lois Tate.
Ms. Diehl is survived by her children, Doug Diehl, Louisville, Brenda (Gary) Lucas and Cathy (Dennis) Henning, both of Hardinsburg, Scotty (Stephanie) Diehl, Custer, Susie (John) Clemons, Westview, and Tayce (Del) Jeffries, Harned; four stepchildren, Jim Diehl, Hardinsburg, William Diehl, Jr, Newark, Ohio, Charles Diehl, Bay Minette, Ala., and Monica Rollins, Edison, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Jan. 8, at Hardinsburg United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Ivy Hill Cemetery.
