BESSIE LEE GREENWELL

Bessie Lee Greenwell, 83, died Jan. 4, 2010, at Springview Health and Rehab in Leitchfield. She was born March 28, 1926, in Rhodelia, to the late Thomas Herman and Lucy Bell Greenwell.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ruth Manning, and a brother, Claud Matthew Greenwell.

Mrs. Greenwell is survived by a daughter, Mary Marie (Darrell) Sandlin, Leitchfield; and three additional children; a sister, Norma Jean Williams, Knoxville, Tenn.; two grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Jan. 6, at St. Theresa Church in Rhodelia. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home.
