OLA MAE PRIEST

Ola Mae Priest, 74, Hardinsburg, died Jan. 20, 2010, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hardinsburg, Sept. 23, 1935, the daughter of James Guthrie (Gus) and Feba Ellen Fleming Carwile.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafts, music and woodworking. She attended Hillcrest Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, James Douglas Miller; two brothers, Charles Wesley and James Mathias Carwile; and three sisters, Katherine Louise Duke, Betty Lucille Crowe and Naomi Carwile.
Ms. Priest is survived by a daughter, Neoma Shattles, Jackson, Ga.; a son, Charles Owen Kennedy, Hardinsburg; a grandchild; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Jan. 22, from the chapel of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home. Burial was in the Cap Anderson Cemetery in Brandenburg.
