DOROTHY IMOGENE SAMPSON

Dorothy Imogene Sampson, 85, died Feb. 6, 2010, at Wesley Manor Retirement Community in Louisville.

She was a retired cashier for the Kroger Company and a member of the Shively Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Sampson, and a grandson, Mickey Sampson.

Mrs. Sampson is survived by a daughter, Jean (Perry) Whelan; a stepson, James (Diane) Sampson; two sisters, Layala Homer and Marrianna Russell; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from the chapel of Ratterman and Son Funeral Home. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.
