BEN FRANK CURL JR.

Ben Frank Curl Jr., 75, Wolf Creek, died July 5, 2010. He was born June 3, 1935, in Wolf Creek, to the late Ben F. Curl Sr. and Eulalia Houghton Curl.

He was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church, the Local 181 Operators Union in Henderson, the Harrison Lodge 122 F&AM and was retired from the Wolf Creek Volunteer Fire Department. He was also an avid fisherman.

He was preceded in death by two infant daughters and 11 brothers and sisters.

Mr. Curl is survived by his wife, Donnie M. Wright Curl, Wolf Creek; two daughters, Pam (Bob) Frederick, Palmyra, Ind., and Carlette (Harry) Miller, Guston; two sons, John (Julie) Curl, Wolf Creek, and David (Vanessa) Wright, Ekron; two brothers, Bill (Pat) Curl, Wolf Creek, and Hubert Curl, Brandenburg; two godchildren, Pat and Patty Higdon, Wolf Creek; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held July 9, from the chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home. Burial was in Parr-Frans Cemetery.
