CHARLES MARSHALL FARRIS

Charles Marshall Farris, 88, Battletown, died Aug.3, 2010, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Bertha Agnes Oakes Farris, and a son, Charles Edward “Tommy” Farris.

Mr. Farris is survived by a daughter, Shirley Marcell Meadows, Battletown; a sister, Margaret Jantzen, Payneville; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Aug. 9, from the chapel of Hager Funeral Home. Burial was in Ekron Baptist Church Cemetery.
