THOMAS R. ‘UNCLE TOM’ REVOR
Thomas R. “Uncle Tom” Revor, 56, Linwood, Mich., formerly of Flaherty, died Aug. 1, 2010, at his residence with his family by his side following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 7, 1954 in Bay City, Mich., to Keran (Joe) Revor and Lorraine (Dubay) Bellor.
He worked for many years as a union laborer for Local 1098 until an auto accident in 2001. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Laborers Local 1098. He enjoyed going to the casinos, hunting, NASCAR and watching “The Price is Right,” but most of all spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandson.
He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Joe Revor; his father-in-law, Roy Howard Sr., and two nephews, Tristan and Ronnie.
Mr. Revor is survived by his mother; a daughter, Diane (Troy) Wrisley; a sister, JoAnn (James) Settler; a brother, Mike (Misty) Fillmore, a grandson; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Aug. 5, from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father Richard Jozwiak officiating. Burial was in St. Anne Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home.
