Meade County pennies are destined for a good charitable cause

During the story hour program at the Meade County Public Library, preschoolers display the “check” for money they raised for charity. They chose their charity through a vote when learning about being president during career month. The children thanked all who helped them in their quest for funds and helped make a difference in the lives of Appalachian children.
