KYLE ROBERT
LANCASTER

Kyle Robert Lancaster, Irvington, graduated from Murray State University May 8, 2010, with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural systems technology.
Lancaster also was named to the dean’s list for his scholastic achievement during the spring semester. Students must have a grade point average ranging from 3.5 to a perfect 4.0 to be eligible for dean’s list status.
He is the son of Paul and Theresa Lancaster.

AMBER NICOLE
PHILLIPS

Amber Nicole Phillips, daughter of Dwight C. and Betty Phillips, Hardinsburg, is the recipient of a $1,500 academic scholarship awarded by ag lender, Farm Credit Services of Mid-America.

Meade County High School semi-reunion

A Meade County High School semi-reunion for the Classes of 1980-1984 was held June 19 at the home of Kina (Bruce) Lucas and her husband, Raymond Lucas.

Old memories were shared during the night with plenty of love and laughter for all. The reunion was potluck and was DJ’ed by Allen Powell.

Everyone in attendence had a great time and each person left with a new memory to add to the mountain of the ones they brought with them that night. Old pictures were shared along with dancing and ballots were cast to choose their “King and Queen,” “Miss Social Butterfly,” “The Biggest Redneck,” “Party Animal,” “Farthest Traveled to Get to the Reunion,” and “Most Successful for 2010!”

Farthest Traveled: Carl Moore (1983)
Biggest Family: Fayme (Addison) Bullock (1983)
Those in attendence were: Kina (Bruce) Lucas, Raymond Lucas, Max and Angie Decker, Lana (Hart) Pollock and Layla, Scott Davis, Carl and Becky Moore, Audrey Cundiff Mundell, Michael Elder, Danny and Missy Pipes, Amy (Zeitz) Bailey, Fayme Bullock and Shane Embry, Carla and James Laslie, Theresa Evans, Dayna and Kelley Durbin, Deanna (Bliss) Barnett, Angie (Bass) Monchilovich, Ginger Vessels, Jean Ann Benoit, Deloris Miller Edmondson, Kelly Powell, Michael Powell, and DJ Allen Powell.
Another get-together is being planned for sometime in October.
