KELLEY HARROP

Kelley Harrop, Brandenburg, was elected by his peers to be their student representative on the Elizabethtown Community & Technical College board of directors. Kelley’s leadership on campus for being part of the Student Government Association, the Baptist Campus Ministry, technical support and editor of the BCM newsletter, president of the Justice League World of Politics Club, and president of the Rotaract Club, which is sponsored by the Hardin County Rotary, has helped him be awarded a scholarship as student ambassador to the college.

Kelley will complete his studies at ECTC this fall and will then finish his degree at Western Kentucky University, where is working to be certified as a teacher.

Kelley is a recent member of the League of Women Voters, which is open to men to join as well as women, who join the league because of an interest in bipartisan politics. Kelley is a member of Brandenburg United Methodist Church and serves on the mission team and has been an Upward Basketball coach.
