Steve and Denise Gross, Brandenburg, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Gross, to Gaither Phillips, son of Mark and Beth Phillips, Brandenburg. Melanie and Gaither are graduates of Meade County High School and both attend the University of Louisville. The wedding will take place Dec. 16, 2006, at 6 p.m. at Buck Grove Baptist Church in Ekron. All friends and family are invited to attend.
