The Brandenburg Ethics Commission met April 12 to review profiles of the Brandenburg City Council members. Submitted each time there are new council members, these profiles outline the member’s occupation, salary and any potential for conflicts of interest in the conduct of city business. After reviewing the profiles, the commission members stated they saw nothing that required discussion.

The commission is composed of chair Chester Medley, serving a three-year term; Rebecca Shacklette, serving a two-year term; and Bobby Skaggs, serving a one-year term. They will next meet July 12, unless an issue arises in the interim which would necessitate a called meeting.
