Homecoming court named

Robert Deener, the son of Terry and Robin Deener, Brandenburg, and a representative of the science club was named the homecoming king during halftime ceremonies Feb. 7 at the Greenwave/Cloverport basketball game. Joining him as the queen is Carly Wood, the daughter of Dale and Cindy Lynn, Brandenburg, and a member of the dance team. In the center are flower girl Callie Chapman, the daughter of Gabe and Jennifer Chapman, Brandenburg, and crown bearer Braden Stowe, the son of Adam and Amber Stowe, Brandenburg. Serving as the prince is Jonah Cundiff, the son of Steve and Jamie Cundiff, Ekron, and a representative of the tennis team, and the princess is Candice Cruz, the daughter of Melissa and David Wiltshire, Brandenburg, and Albert and Madeline Cruz, Chester, Va. She is currently the student body president and a member of the dance team.
